Hooray for heritage sites - Tubbataha



Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park. Located 98 nautical miles southeast of Puerto Princesa in Palawan, Tubbataha Reef is a favorite of many scuba divers. CNN Travel counts it as one of the best dive sites in the world—all 99,600 hectares of it. It’s made up of two coral atolls, and corals cover about two-thirds of the area. Its diverse ecosystem is believed to rival Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, as it houses more than 300 coral and 400 fish species.
